Student Visa And PGWP - Can i use my valid Visa to Travel?

Hello,

My visa will be exiting only on 2017, but it's a s-1 category visa.
I'm done with my studies and got my postgraduation work permit which is valid till 2018.

Do i need to apply for a TRV now? because my TRV is valid now but the category is S-1! do i need to change it ?

I dont believe u have to change. I did travel on my S-1 visa and pgwp though it was US but still I dont see a problem there as long as visa and PGWP r both valid

Do i need valid TRV to travel in Usa ? as my TRV will expire on 30 Nov but i have valid study permit until April 2016.

Expired temporary resident visa

You can request to return to Canada on your original temporary resident visa, even if it is expired, if:
- you will only visit the U.S. or St. Pierre and Miquelon; and
- you will return to Canada before the end of your approved stay in Canada.
