Student to Visitor to Worker

I had my Canadian Visitor Visa before i applied for my student Visa and got my Study permit. Does my Visitor visa get cancelled once I get these? And if not, can i change my status to visitor after my study permit expires and before i apply for post graduate work permit, so i can continue to stay in Canada?

Do not change your status to visitor between study permit and PGWP. Applying for your PGWP allows you to stay and work in Canada. Your TRV to enter Canada does not get cancelled if you become a student.
