hi

I am an asylum applicant in USA waiting for court already for many years, I been rescheduled several times.
My spouse is a F1 student in USA right now on OPT. She is not part of my case and we are originally from different countries.
My spouse got an offer for study in Canada for master degree.

What issues should I expect, I'm concern that I won't be able to get a dependent visa.

Can anyone advice, thank you in advance.

Unfortunately there's quite a high chance you will have issues getting a dependent visa (i.e. visitor visa or work permit). To be approved, you generally need to show ties to your home country and prove you have no plans on remaining in Canada long term. This will be very difficult to do if you have an ongoing asylum claim in the US. So you should assume there's a very high possibility your spouse will have to come and study in Canada alone while you remain in the US.
