Student spouse visa help...

Hello friends....

my friends girlfriend recently got student work permit.She is now in canada studying.
she wants to bring him to canada too.
is there anyway she can sponsor him.
she said she can come to india and amrry him next month...
will that help him getting visa?

and she got 1 yr of student permit starting in april i think.

pls help guys....

I think first she should get PR and then sponsor. What type of visa he wants tourist visa or study visa. If he wants any of this than he can apply himself.

he just wants to go there and live with her and support her in studies....

he is not that that much educated.he has completed secondary school.

but he wants her to study further.

so is there anyway before her getting pr.
any visa will do for him.

If she marries him he can apply for TRV to join her in Canada. But I don't think it will be a good idea for getting PR in future for her(my personal opinion).

yes Aman,

You are right if she marry to him ... your friend will be eligible to apply for TRV or Open work permit.

But for this you need solid proof of marriage like marriage certificate , Photo's of marriage , their communication proof like e-mail or their call details.

and other so many things are required as well.

He will allow to work over there and his permit will valid till her(spouse)study permit.

One of my friend has got the OWP under this circumstances.

Could you please elaborate your point why she will find the difficulty in future to get the (PR) if she marry a guy during her studies.

yes they are ready to show proofs of photos,email and phone calls.
as they are genuinely getting marriage.

i just want to know her student permit will expire in march or april 2014 .....
what they will do after that?
will they have to return to india or his wife can get work permit or anything else.

After the study permit ends the TRV for him also ends. So she has to apply for Post Graduation Work Permit if she wants to gain PR through CEC or PNP. I don't know that if he can accompany her at the time of PGWP. If she applies for PR then visa officer will doubt that she will try to bring her husband to Canada by sponsoring him. This might be negative side. But I am not VO so my opinion is personal and it might have no value.
