Student - Spousal Open work permit query

Hello people.

I had a query. My wife may get student visa for May,2021 intake. We did not apply for my open work permit together as I did not want my application, grounds for refusal of her application.
If she gets the visa, can I immediately apply for Open Work Permit, even before she lands in Canada? I am confused because the required documents for SOWP say Study Permit of spouse. Can her Study permit approval letter considered as Study permit?

Also what is the best time to apply? Once she lands or before she lands?

Once she arrives in Canada and is issued the study permit.

You can apply once she gets approved for a study permit. OWP is not guaranteed for spouses if international students.
