Student permit's spouse, PGWP and CEC application

Hi friends.

If my husband has a study permit for a postgraduate certificate of 1 year, I can get an open work permit, correct? Then, once his study permit is expiring, he can apply for PGWP of 1 year. Can I extend my open work permit for the same amount of time? Do I have to wait for him to get his PGWP so I can extend my open work permit or how does that work?

One more question: Am I eligible to apply for CEC by working during this open work permit time? Am I allowed to ask for the BOWP, even though I only got the open work permit because my husband was on a study permit and PGWP?

Yes you can get open work permit when your husband is on 1 yr study permit and after his completion of studies,he can get 1 yr pgwp and so u can get another yr of open wrk permit.
Yes your are eligible to apply for CEC after you completed one yr of employment in NOC O , A ,B

First question is yes, but only if your husband start working in NOC 0,A or B. Your husband PGWP alone does not guaranty you open work permit. Second question is yes.
