Student Permit Inside Canada

Hello.

I have just received a message from CIC that my application was approved along with some instructions on how to get it. It has said to bring some documents with me when I arrive to Canada to the check in at the airport. The thing is that I'm already inside Canada and not planning on flying any time soon. Is there some way to get my students permit from inside Canada without buying a plane ticket?

Two options:

(1) Drive down to a US/Canada land border crossing. Exit Canada and then re-enter to trigger the study permit.
(2) Fly out of Canada to a different country and then fly back in.
