I JUST GOT ADMISSION TO CANADA,CAN I APPLY FOR MY STUDENT VISA PERMIT IN MALAYSIA,BCUS I WANT TO USE MY UNCLE AS MY SPONSORSHIP AND BANK ACCOUNT IS FROM NIGERIA,WHAT TO DO BEFORE APPLY?ALL MY DOCUMENT FROM CANADA IS WITH ME HERE IN MALAYSIA.

is it possible for u to come down 2 Nigeria to apply for the visa? or are u a permanent resident in Malaysia? I think d statement of acct shld also come from d country where u r applying. I am not really sure though.

It does not matter where the account is domiciled, there is no instruction that says applicants account must be domiciled in country of applications. it is left for the VO to verify the account irrespective of what country sponsor is.

Your sponsor could actually reside anywhere! What they would like to know is the connection between you both, and the reason why he's sponsoring you. Whats your status in malaysia? If its study visa and you're yet to complete your program, then there might be issue.

Any applicant from Malaysia receiving news from CHC Singapore? I submitted application last week of June for student visa no news or any contact until today.
