Student Permit Extension + Spouse Work Permit extension

Hi,

I completed a 1-year post-graduate program and am now enrolled in a second 1-year program. My wife is here with me on an open work permit and is currently working. I am applying for my student permit extension and her work permit extension. I had a few queries regarding that:
1) Can I submit both the applications at the same time?
2) What's the amount of funds that I would need to show?
3) For her application form (IMM5710), what option should I select among the four provided

• A work permit with the same employer
• An initial work permit or a work permit with a new employer
• Restoration of your status as a worker
• An initial or an extension of a temporary resident permit

4) In the form, do I need to provide details of my wife's current employer and current job details?
