Hello everyone, I am in the U.S. right now on a visitor's visa, I am not a U.S. citizen nor a Permanent Resident. I am planning to go and study in Canada. I was wondering if I can apply for a private student loan here in the U.S. with a cosigner and use it for my study in Canada? Or are there banks in Canada who offers student loans for international student without cosigner? The school I'm planning to go to, Grant Macewan University don't offer fin. aid or scholarships for international students. Please help! Are there anyone who have done this (int. student loans)?

You won't be able to get a loan in Canada since you have no assets to secure it. You'll have to speak with a bank in the US to find out if they are willing to give you a loan. Given you have no assets there or permanent status - I think it's very unlikely. You would be far better off securing a loan from your home country.
student loans in canada are provided by federal and provincial governments... bu only available for residents (Canadians).
You can probably get a loan for your education but it would be a personal loan (i.e. not a student loan) and would require a Canadian guarantor/ co-signer.
the only downside is that the interest rate you have to pay may be higher and you may not get the same deal as student loans do (interest free as long as you are a student and for an extra 6 months after you graduate, then you start paying interest).
