Student In US; Engaged to Canadian; Trying to get a temp work visa in Toronto

My situation doesn't seem complicated but it virtually is impossible to figure out the solution.

My fiancé lives in Toronto, Canada. We are to be married in August. I want to help her with the wedding planning because she'll be really busy in her last semester of nursing during the summer. So I'm hoping to get a job in Toronto from May until August.

What visa do I need? I'm a full time student at a university in Miami and I thought I could get a "student work visa" because my fiancé did that last summer when she came to Miami and worked for three months. She definitely had a student work visa that allowed her to work here but apparently it doesn't exist for a US citizen to work in Canada....

I honestly just want to work for three months over there because I want to help and be with her before we're married. Is there any temporary (student or otherwise) visa that could solve my problem?
