Student ID when changing DLI number

I wanna change my university and change the DLI of my current university in CIC website.

But when I want to do that, there is a field named 'Student ID' that needs to be filled. What is it exactly?

Another question is that, I am going to change from one university to another university. After changing my DLI in CIC website, do I need to change my Study permit too and obtain a new one?

When you get a LOA you should get a student id/number as well from the school. You dont need to change SP unless it is restricted to 1 school, it would be written on the SP itself.
