Which Visa Office you get will depend on your passport region. Sometimes they shuffle applications on basis of how busy a particular office is.

I’ve a super similar profile. My application, biometric and medical dates are the same as yours, however, I still haven’t received any update. Did you get an email and was it also updated on the portal?

Email telling there is a new message on the portal. And when I opened it showed application approved under final decision and a message requesting for original passport. The portal, though, still says that eligibility and background check are still going on.

I'll share my timeline. I got the message of approval last night.
Applied online under sds: November 16
Got biometrics letter: November 17
Gave biometrics at VFS Chandigarh: November 19
Medical passed: November 27
Correspondence letter: November 29
Original passport request: Few minutes later (Nov 29).

IELTS score: 8.5, 8.5, 8 and 6.5 (overall 8)

Hold a PG diploma and 4.5 years work exp.

I hope it means confirmed. Because VFS is closed today so can't talk to them or submit passport.

My Time line is same as yours.

Now my profile says Eligibility under review.

Biometrics and Medical updated.

I hope I get final result sooner now.

How do you know this that having an Express Entry profile will lead to Rejection of Student visa profile. I don't think this is true.

It happens sometimes and it totally depends on vo and how lucky you are, my cousin sister got her study permit even though she already submitted a express entry file in the past

Exactly that is my point. Having an Express Entry is no reason for Student Visa rejection. IRCC may check EE profile for cross verification of information and may reject if the student visa profile and EE profile doesn't match during checking eligibility but that is purely a misrepresentation. But if there is no issue in the records then there shouldn't be any issue in clearing the eligibility.
