Student fee payment before visa issue?

Hi All,

Though I am old to this site but new to this forum. I am planning to apply for an international student. There are some questions coming into my mind like My visa office is Abudhabi. Suppose if any university send me acceptence letter normally how much time they give you for confirmation and do they ask for the fees along with the confirmation? or they ask for fees once you get the Student visa from Visa office. Suppose if someone get acceptence letter and paid the initial fees and visa office reject for student visa? then University will refund?? what are the chances of rejections?? as being a student if university send you acceptence letter and all ur documents are complete I feel like so Visa office will not reject.... Normally on acceptence letter university mention the duration of the Study??

I am preparing for my Ielts now a days Hoping for best. I want to persue in the masters Class.

Most universities demand a initial deposit fee e.g. Concordia demands 250 c$ for admission confirmation and it is non refundable,but if u get visa it will be added to ur tuition. So don't pay other than these fees because universities don't usually demand any advance semester fees...

Thank you so much Momi.. so your mean to say we can pay once we are in canada or you have to pay once your visa is done so u need to pay before u entre Canada? or before your session start if you go a bit early then your starting class tenure??

Thank you so much Momi.. so your mean to say we can pay once we are in canada or you have to pay once your visa is done so u need to pay before u entre Canada? or before your session start if you go a bit early then your starting class tenure??

It's your choice , pay from here or pay when you are there.............Universities give time to Pay fees so don't worry...........

Thank you so much Momi... you are very helpful... Actually I am going for my masters after a long gap because the time when i graduated i was not have enough resources...... Now i have my experience letter with me and since long i wanted to do my masters from abroad..... Do you think if I also give my experience letters together with my visa papers and documents it will work or not... because I heared also if there are gaps the rejection chances are there... But even in my college life so much of our professors went for the higher educations!!! What do u say about it????

Which university did you apply momi??? My wife is an accountant and she wanted to get an information about CGA courses.. i been through course finder links but did not get anything do u have any idea for CGA(certified general accountant)....

Now i have my experience letter with me and since long i wanted to do my masters from abroad..... Do you think if I also give my experience letters together with my visa papers and documents it will work or not... because I heared also if there are gaps the rejection chances are there... Don't worry age does not matter nor the gaps (provided you are doing something during gaps) I am going to study after a GAP of 9 years and i have showed my last 9 years Jobs, by experience letters , payslips and ITR's etc, so don't worry if you are a genuine student you will get it...I applied for Ottawa and Concordia but going for Concordia.............ask her to search for some university degree related to accounts and finance it will be more feasible..........

Do we need to show salary slip also??? I have My Labour cntract with me for the companies in U.A.E as I am pakistani National living in dubai..... you provide them with salary slip for prove or they ask for it??? I think for my previous 7 years job i can show my labour contract and companies before then that I have only experience letters....

I am applying after 11 years gap... 2 years more then u!!

Pay slips and ITR have added advantage if u don't have those then don't worry,show whatever u have, waiting for visa...

Did you call to the university directly about the matter??? I think you should call university financial departmnet and tell them if u have any id or any previous correspondence record when u apply!!! I think talk directly and ask them..... I feel like so university must know that visa factor comes later so they have to be considerate instead just ask for the money!!!

Yup contact university also , this looks like business. In uk universities same thing is a routine matter but for Canada it is new...
