Stuck at Background Check

Hello,
my eligibility started 48 days ago, i have raised several webforms in the past month and i got the reply that my application is currently undergoing background checks and that they can’t give an estimate of how much time it’ll take to complete.

I wanted to know if this means my eligibility is passed and I’ll get a decision as soon as my background check is completed or is it possible that my eligibility is also still under process? Is background check done before or after eligibility?

Hi, I have almost the same situation, I applied on February 17, took biometrics on February 24, my eligibility and background stared on March 29( I'm waiting for Medical request), since then no news from them, I had risen 2 webform and got the same answer "is still in process" , I ordered GCMS notes last month it supposed to arrive next Wednesday. This is frustrating!!! my classes star on Sept. 7th, I don't know if wait and see if I get an answer or defer to January.

Yeahh its really frustrating. My notes are due in two weeks too. They have said that they will give a decision before 6th August but I don't know if it will be an approval or not so can't really plan for anything else right now

Yeah, but in the website says that you will get a decision by August 6th if you have a complete application (including Biometrics and medical results), so in my case it doesn't apply, because I'm waiting for medical request. that's why I don't know what to do.
