On my way to settling permanently in Canada, I'm planning to use British Airways to go to Toronto from Singapore. I'm thinking of doing a two day stop over in London to visit relatives whom I have not seen for a long time assuming I can get a visa to do this. Has anyone done this before? Will there be issues to my landing process?

Thank you in advance.

Irrelevant to the landing process in Canada. Does not make a difference if you're arriving from Timbuktu, Madagascar, London or Singapore - all are equal at the Canadian arrivals.

Since your stopover will be more than 24 hours, you'll have to handle your luggage. That is the only issue. But depends on preference.
