Still waiting for the first PR card for 2.5 months

Hi all,

I landed on May 15, 2018 and the officer took my photo and told me that my PR card will be mailed to me within 2 months. Now it has been beyond the processing time and I can't even plan any trips because of it. I linked on CIC and it still says "submitted" but I have no idea what it means. Is there anyone who received their PR card even though the status shows submitted or does the status have to be "approved"? Honestly, how much longer should I expect to wait? Thanks in advance!

You can contact them to find out status if it has been more than the processing time stated on their website; 62 days?
Honestly I didn't receive my PR card till much later because every time they would say my photos did not meet specifications.
It all depends on case by case.
