Me and My Wife are originally from India but my wife has been in Canada past approx 5 years. She is on work permit as well as she has done her Masters Degree from York University, Canada.
My wife has applied for her PR in Feb 2010 in New York Office under Federal Skilled Worker. In December 2011 we got married and my Name was added in the PR file in JAN 2012. Medical Background checks, Police checks and all other related formalities has been done satisfactorily up to their end by August 2012.
The Last message that was updated on immigration website said:
We transferred your application to the New York office on January 12, 2012. The New York office may contact you.
We have also received information that our file has been transferred to Ottawa Immigration Office from New York Immigration Office.
We have not been able to know where do we stand and how long its gonna take? Any Suggestions please?
