Still waiting! Applied PR on January 2018

I sent my application for PR on January 2018
CIC received my application on January 15, 2018
Got my Medical Report on May 31, they received on June 15, 2018
Got Pre-arrival letter on August 10, 2018
After that, the website shows "We are processing your background check", didn't get any updates on CIC account until today. The medical done almost year (I don't know why they ask do so early)
Called CIC couple times, only they told me is 'waiting'.
Is anyone has same situation , still waiting? Did CIC tell you guys anything updates? Hope the best for everyone who waiting for PR.

The processing time for all application is different and all cases are different this is a game of patients for us all.

Yes I called them Monday. And I passed everything, this morning I got Visa request. I’m so happy now. Did u get yet?

No they said no need for extended, as long as the officer is fine. I forgot ask the date, the agent only told me, all my stuff passed. So, I was thinking, ok then I’ll just wait. But few days late, suddenly I got request! You will get soon, for sure. Best wish for u friend.
