Sticky Situation

Hi all, I look forward to hearing your feedback and any help/support. My situation is similar to many on this site, but a bit stickier. My PR card will expire on August 7, I intend to arrive in Canada, this time for good on June 25. Unfortunately, for several reasons, I have not been able to meet the residency requirements, but because my family (except for my spouse) all live in Canada, and because I have the true intention to live in Canada, I am going back! I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that they don't give me a very hard time upon entering. Wish me luck!

I got a little paranoid the other day, was not the best planning on my part but I really did not think it would be a problem. I applied for a US tourist visa from my home country and got refused! :-[ I have family in USA too, and wanted to visit them first for a couple of weeks, and do a tour up to Canada with them. In any case, that plan failed even though I had good intentions, the US visa officer was very hard on me and was not forgiving ... somehow the questions turned out to be about my PR status in canada ---- I did not see that coming. I answered as honestly as I can, and the gentleman did not even ask to look at any supporting documents. He just kept writing things and then gave me a "no".

My question is: can the US officer in the Us embassy in my home country, enter any information against me in the system used by Canadian immigration officers? May be it is far fetched, am just a little surprised and upset by the verdict, so maybe am over thinking. I just now want to forget about all my plans and just arrive in Canada for good. Please, any insight would be great, thank you!

No - they can't.
