steps after filing case

i live in pakistan. my husband filed my case on APril 5, 2013. i wanna know the wohole procedure after filing, can anyone tell me stet by step process. and when do i get my forst letter that they have recievd my cfile.

It is for Islamabad and I am sure you will find all sorts of information on the process there. From the posted processing times (I think 29 months) you will have some time to keep yourself busy.

There are other threads as well, one from 2009/10 applicants, If you look on that one as well, it may be more useful to you as I would assume most of those files have been completed. Or at least I would hope so!
