step son/daughter

hello guys! i have another query, i have a step son and a step daughter. My step son is living with my husband's mother, while my step daughter is living with her mom. They are included in our application, is there any other documents that i have to submit aside from the declaration of the non migrating parent for minors?
my husband and his ex wife have no any monetary arrangement for the 2 kids. hope u can help me with my query. Thanks in advance :-*

Only affidavit is required from the mother that she has no objection to her children going to Canada for permanent residence.
