Dear all,
I m back to the forum after a long time becoz my immigration was completed and I landed here 3 months ago. Now I want to sponsor my step mother for visit visa but the problem is that I have not mentioned her name any where in my application when I applied. There was just one space to put Mother name in family information form so I mentined my deceased mother name there. My question is that will there be any problem for me as cic will say that u hv misrepresented and did not mention that u hv a step mother? Will they issue visit visa to my step mother?
Plz reply me becoz i hv to start her visa process since we are expecting a baby in 2 months and I want her to be here by that time.
BTW i m still struggling to get a good job in my field.. nowadays working in walmart and just earning enough to cover all my expenses.
Thanks and regards,

You are not "sponsoring" her. You are 'inviting' her. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=421&top=16
It doesn't matter what what you declared in the PR application for this situation. Her application for a visitor visa will be assessed on her circumstances.
