Staying at an AirBnb for quarantine

I will be coming to Montreal, Quebec in a month or so.

I am checking AirBnb apartments, and most affordable ones offer a private room with a shared kitchen and bathroom.

Will the border officers reject my entry to Canada in case they knew that I'll be sharing an apartment with a private room?

I would read this. You can technically do it but I wouldn't. You may have to prove to immigration that you know the other people sharing bathroom/kitchen and that their health doesn't make them vulnerable to Covid. It seems a bit risky for an extra $20-$30 a night I would have a private place where you know for sure you won't be putting anyone at risk.

Shared accommodations are usually a no-no, unless the roommates agree and quarantine too. Your university will have a “quarantine package“ so use them or find private accommodatio.
