Statutory declaration for PCC

I am preparing documents against 120 days letter given by CHC – London. Unfortunately the letter was sent to my old address 3 months back; I came to know this only last week. Hence I have only one month in hand to reply.

I need to get PCC from Nigeria but it is impossible in this one month time, hence providing self affidavit or statuary declaration will satisfy CHC requirements?? I can submit the PCC whenever I get it or I should ask for 3 more months to reply

at least apply for police clearance and submit the proof with your application that you have applied for a police clearance. also explain to them in a cover letter that you will submit as soon as you receive it. this is what i would do if i were in your situation.
