does approved visas get letter in email from cic. i did not recieve any ..any vfs tracking says envelope recieved reg my visa from consulate. does this mean my visa is rejected?

no...mine was a short term visa abt 5 months

If your studies are less than six months, then you would have applied for a TRV rather than a study permit.

i already did my project for 6 months on TRV, later cuz required more time for project applied for extension but got rejected asking to apply for study permit
