Status UPDATE QUESTIONS

NY Consulate has never updated my online status after this:

IN PROCESS: "We started processing your application on March 20, 2011. We transferred your application to the New York office on June 20, 2011. The New York office may contact you."

In the meanwhile i have already submitted my medical (request came from NY consulate).

Should they be updating my status (as i have already submitted my medical on sept 6)?

How will I eveR know if they have recieved my medical results or not?

Another question - does anyone know when I can expect my passport request?

GOD and VISA OFFICE only can say exact time .................!!!

Hi kevkev, my file also had been transfered to NY Office. The status in E-CAS does not matter the status/progress of your application. I did my medical exam about 4 months ago. and my E-CAS just updated a few days ago stated that "Your medical report has been received". And I still did not receive any PPR yet. Good luck with your case!
