I submitted a 'Paper-based Student Visa Application' on April 10, 2017 and accordingly received an email from VFS stating that, 'Visa application, No. _____________ – has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office on 10/04/2017'.
Now today, i received another email from VFS stating that, 'We would like to inform you that your application has been processed in our office on 10 Apr 2017. You can track the status of your application through our website using your tracking number, ___________-'
While i checked the status through the VFS Global website, it states that the 'Application is being processed at the Canada Visa Office'.
Is it normal to receive these all emails in this sequence? What are the 'status notifications' generally received by the Visa Applicants. I am a bit confused that their latest email used the phrase, 'application has been processed' and online status reflects, 'application is being processed'.
