Status of Spouse of Recipient under SINP Employment Offer

Let's figure it out.

1. What status will my wife have so far I have not received Permanent Residence?
1. What status will my wife have AFTER I receive Permanent Residence?

Can she get a job?
Can she start education?
If she find a job in another province, could I move with her without restrictions?
Is she equal to me the owner of PR, or she linked to my PR?
Is she linked to the province like I do?
What If I lose my PR for any reasons, did she immediately lose her PR?

As soon as you receive SINP nomination you and your wife can apply for work permits, your work permit will be closed (if you applied SINP -JOB OFFER) and your wife will get open work permit. The work permits will be given for at least 2 years. it will give you enough time to get PR. Your wife will get PR as well. As she will be included as your spouse/dependent in your PR application. Me and my husband went through the same routine last summer, currently we are waiting for PR.
