Status of Spouse in CEC application with Open Work Permit

Hi,

I have encountered this issue while filling up the IMM0008. I am the Principal Applicant (on Work Permit) and my wife holds a Open Work Permit (but not working) who has accompanied me to Canada on Visitor Visa. What is the status that I choose for my wife in this application.... VISITOR or WORKER ?

I can choose VISITOR (considering that she is not working as of now) ....... > but she holds a Open Work Permit, has a Social Insurance Number and also filed her Income Tax Return in Canada for the last year.

I can choose WORKER (considering that she holds a Open Work Permit)....... > but she is not employed and a HOME MAKER as of now.

I find this tricky. Seek your valuable inputs. Thanks!

I'd say worker.... they are more like asking what type of immigration document she holds

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Lily!
Even I think that it should be projecting her current status as 'WORKER' even though she is not employed.
Any suggestions folks ?
