status of my application is kept changing from updated to submitted and so forth but i am not getting emails regarding this.. whats going on?

Its normal you will get email when there will be significant update like approval

Did you link your application online with my cic account if not try to make one account online and try to link your aaplication it will show u every detail plus validtiy online

Validity: That's mentioned on the visa counterfoil i.e. 'Date of Issue' and 'Expiry Date'

Check for the hologram. There are no watermarks. Your photograph won't be printed on the visa.

Hope you had applied for the visa yourself or through a registered immigration consultant.

Also, link your application to your MyCIC account and check if the 'Final decision' status update states 'Approved and closed'
