Status not changed to Approved

Hi ,

I have submitted my passport on 13th March at VFS bangalore for stamping. On 29th March I got the SMS that they my passport is coming back from IRCC delhi. The problem is status on the website hasnot changed to approved. As far as I know, after stamping status changes to approved.

I just wanted to know if anyone has faced this type of situation. Does status change after COPR has been issued for all the applicants? In my case, we have only submitted passport for the primary applicant and still have to do for dependent applicant. Can this be the reason or they havenot issued COPR for me ?

Why didn't you submit passport for your dependent? Didn't your PPR email specifically tell you to do so?

My wife is in Canada so she submitted her passport there. They returned her passport saying that COPR hasn’t been issued for primary applicant and to submit it again after COPR has been issues for me. That’s why when they processed my application there wouldn’t have any passport for dependent
