Status expiring, no job offer, not applied for PR, no LMIA

Hi guys,
I need an advice, my status is expiring and it was a closed work permit, I don't have any job offer neither a LMIA, I didn't applied for PR yet, how can I restore my status? What I suppose to do ??

when is your work permit will expire?

If your work permit is still valid, apply to change your status to visitor so that you can remain in Canada. Of course you'll need to stop working as soon as your work permit expires.

it says that after your work permit expired you will be given 90 days to apply for restoration of your status but you can not work or study until the decision was made...

so i suggest before it comes to 90 days you have to apply for restoration...and while waiting you should start looking for a job with lmia before the decision or apply for student or visitor visa... i hope it helps...good luck..

It's expiring in next 15 days!!! I am not working, because I was on a LMIA based job, which I lost long time ago, they ask me to find a new employer to work, but I couldn't find one!! Now the status I was given is also getting expired, I consulted someone and he told me to apply for student permit paper Application!! Is that the only option ?? What else I can do!!

you can also try to apply for visitors visa... that is all the option that you have to buy time and look for a new employer...hope youll find it soon...good luck...
