Status Change: From Legally Separated to Divorced

Folks,

I recently got divorced - I was Legally Separated at the time of filing my application.
Would sending the divorce certificate be sufficient, or do i have to change my application?

My application (CEC - from India) was submitted on July 10th, and is currently undergoing background verification.

There shouldn't be much change to your profile if you would have applied as a single applicant.
But for better clarification post to LegalFalcon s thread. He might be able to shed more light on the situation

AFAIK, you can email the CIC with your application no and explain the situation.
Shouldn't be of much consequences though

I did apply as a single applicant, with the status as legally separated.
