Status at Singapore Visa Office

Can any one advise what is the latest status of Singapore Visa office to process Documents. How long they are taking on an average?

It's been six months++ on my case and status is still "Received by Visa Office". Wondering what's going on in this Visa Office. I thought it would take only about 5 months since full documents is submitted. Haven't heard from them since then.

7-10 months for 80% of the skilled workers submitted after 28/11/08
