Hi! Me again,
I am going through the 'Sponsor Checklist" (IMM 5491) related to Family Class Common-Law sponsorship from outside of Canada, and on the checklist it says that for self-employed people (which is what my sponsor is) need:
"Proof of income "for the 12 months preceding the date of your sponsorship, if you are the sole owner of an unincorporated business, provide evidence of self-employment income (statement of business activities)"
Does this mean that he is required to fill out form T2125 "Statement of Business of Professional Activities" or is a letter of proof from his accountant viable enough? Or even proof of a tax return?
Basically, what counts as evidence of self-employed income???
Thanks!
