StartRight Program-Bank accounts

Dear Members,

I would like to know your opinions on the StartRight programs offered banks in canada.How easy is it to mobilize funds after reaching canada.Hidden cost , if any.Or is it better to take travellers cheque to canada.I was told there is no limit on the amount that can be taken in for the 1st time .

you have a 10000$ cash limit when travelling. You cannot take more than 10000$ in cash and if you do, you need to declare it. Wait for other members' opinions on the programs.
