Scenario of OPEN WORK PERMIT -
We had a session today and someone from CIC(supposedly) said that international students on an OPEN WORK permit can open their own business, just that they cannot use the experience hours for immigration purposes, how true is this?
Scenario of an INTERNATIONAL student currently studying in Canada:
Also, apart from this I wanted to know if an international student can invest in stocks from the US? or maybe even in Canada?
Is it considered working if I invest in stocks just for long term investment and don't keep on trading them every week? Is this allowed while I am an international student in Canada?
