Hi everyone!, I'm Jason from the Philippines, resigned from my job sinced Feb. 2014 for I know I'll be working in Canada soon coz I already had PIDOS(Seminar), Signed contract (food counter attendant), LMO and VISA and just waiting for the call of the agency or employer for the schedule of departure and ticket. Because of the moratarium, everything seems to be at end. Could somebody tell me if i still have a chance working in Canada? Waited for this for such a long time, now what????????

This has been discussed on some threads. Refer to this link http://www.esdc.gc.ca/eng/jobs/foreign_workers/lmo_ref/q_a.shtml

It is a long thread to read through - but bottom line is - if CIC approved your visa already, you are perfectly okay to come. Just be a bit extra cautious, carry all documents and preferably your employer info / contact number. It would be even better if your employer knows your approx time of arrival and is ready to take a call if CIC decides to check on them.

Update:
Since you must be so worried - let me say that more clearly once again. The moratorium DOES NOT AFFECT those whose WP was already approved. It is written on CIC's official guideline and has been confirmed by several people who came through. So you have nothing to worry about.
