Date of Employment
Hi everyone! I need help please.
My FSW application recently expired and I’m creating a new one now to add my Canadian experience. I will have my 1 year experience this August/September. See timeline below:
Aug 19, 2023 - Last day of college
Aug 21, 2023 - Signed contract for full time job (we were allowed at this time to still work full time while waiting for our completion letter)
Sept 14, 2023 - Received Completion letter, submitted PGWP. Received PGWP-EXT confirmation letter. (Implied Status)
Oct 28, 2023 - PGWP approved
My questions are, in my EE profile - should I put August 2023 as my start date or September 2023? I signed the contract in August but technically my 1 year experience will only count from September, from when I had an implied status.
I think my employer will give me a letter saying I started in August. Should I just match it in my profile? Or should I ask my employer to change it to September?
I’m afraid that this might cause a confusion. Looking forward to some of your insights and answers based on your experience. Thank you in advance!
