Stamping passport

Hello all,

So it seems that the CEC timeframe is getting longer everyday.. i am just curious how long does it take from the time you mail your passport until u get it back stamped in the New York VO?

Also, do we have an option to go to the VO in person and get it stamped right away? Anyone with the experience? Thanks

Disagree - it seems to be quicker for new applicants. Just not for those of us who applied in 2010...


i am just curious how long does it take from the time you mail your passport until u get it back stamped in the New York VO?

2-3 weeks for me. I sent it via Fedex, it was returned regular mail.

Also, do we have an option to go to the VO in person and get it stamped right away? Anyone with the experience? Thanks
