Hi,

My spouse arrived in Canada with our daughter (daughter was landing for immigration and spouse had PR). Next
day we observed that my spouse has no entry stamp on her passport, so we rushed to Airport. There officer on duty
was same the earlier night and he recognised my wife and he appreciated her coming there. However, he put a
stamp of next day and he corrected it with pen to change the date from 16 to 15 to reflect correct date. Month,
year was not changed. He put is initials against that change.

Now If I want to submit this as a proof to CRA for entry date, I am afraid that CRA might think that we have
forged it? what should I do.

As a proof we have other documents with correct dates as follows:

1. COPR of our daughter signed by my wife (as daughter was minor, was 15 months when she arrived)
2. Entry stamp on the passport of our daughter
3. Exit stamp on the passports of wife and daughter (same date
4. Proof ticket of correct date
5. Boarding pass from London (UK) to canada showing correct date (But has last name and first name initial of
my wife which is same as me. I did not travel with them)

The Immigration officer who has changed it has given us his agent number and card incase we need it and he
assured that date in system is correct date.

But Most importantly the stamp on her passport is changed with pen and it might trigger unnecessary questions in their mind which I do not want at any cost. Please Help.
