Back in January, I got my work permit paper by driving through peace bridge. The CIC officer stamped on my passport for the date I entered Canada and the expiration of the work permit (which is 3 yrs away)

2 days ago, I flew back to Toronto via Pearson, the CIC officer asked a few questions. He looked at my work permit paper and then I think he stamped something on the customer declaration card but nothing on my passport. Is that normal? Will there be any issues?

1. No issue, although he should have re-stamped the passport with the same expiry date as your work permit.
