SPP VISA POSSIBILITIES FOR MATURE STUDENTS HAVING EXP MORE THAN 4-5 YEARS

Hi,
I am 29 years old, married and have completed my BE(Electronics & comm) in 2005. I have 4.8 years of experience in IT and now planning for Business program either 1 or 2 years course. I am going alone and will not file for my spouse dependent visa, unless I reach Canada. I have given IELTS on 21st April and I am expecting a score not less than 6.5 overall.

Below are my queries:

1. Me and my father have taken a joint loan against a Flat, and my wife has also taken Loan against another Flat on her name. Should these reasons be sufficient to justify that my family is settled in my country of residence and I will be returning back after completion of my studies; else I need to show some other proofs?


2. Most of the consultants have told me not to apply under SPP, cos I have 6 years gap since I finished my last studies in 2005. According to them these days rejection possibilities are more in such cases and also many consultants have advised me not to go for business program as it does not match with my work exp or my earlier studies. They suggested me to go for some Masters program in Electronics or Computers and later I can change it to some other course of my wish once I reach there. Is that the right approach?

3. Am I eligible to apply under SPP programme?

4. Can I go for bussines program or should I apply for Masters course ?

5. I personally feel, having exp of 4-5 years will help to justify my intenstion to go for MBA or any other business program?

6. What is the possibility of getting Visa in my case?

SPP is not a rocket science ! If ur institution is participatin in SPP and if u have a study loan which covers 80% of ur total expenses u automatically fall under SPP !!

No need to attach property valuation certificates under spp.

Yes choose the course which is more relavent to your recent study and work experience

Yes if have no previous rejection

4. Can I go for bussines program or should I apply for Masters course ?
course selection in your field is highly recommanded.dont change the field.You can opt for master as well otherwise atleast go for P.G.DIPLOMA

Yes you can go for MBA


6. What is the possibility of getting Visa in my case?
not only in your case but in anyone's case cant say about possibility of visa

Since you showed your interest for MBA,
You need GMAT scorecard for top level university.
work experience (2-5 years)
first class academic
I.E.L.T.S. 6.5 +
may be telephonic interview.


however some university waives gmat and work experience for entry into MBA programe.

Hello Sir,

You are surely eligible under SPP if u do not have many gap years.

- unless u are able to justify what exactly were u upto for these many yrs then u will not have any problems in obtaining visa... U can always show your work exp to justify the gap...

No Need to attach valuation report. You can attach only loan letter with the visa file and also try to arrange only single loan letter (80% of all expenses)

If you have good work experience with all evidence then you can apply under SPP

Yes you can apply if you meets all the SPP requirements.

Better is to apply for relevant program accoding to your work or academic.

Yes but for MBA you will have to check NON SPP option because under SPP very limited option available for MBA. You can opt PG Diploma level program.

6. What is the possibility of getting Visa in my case?

Its upto your overall profile. Sometime 6.0 IELTS student gets visa and sometime 7.0 IELTS student gets rejection.

For my first query, most of you guys have suggested me to arrange for Study loan(80%). My intention of giving all those details was only for "Letter of explanation" while submitting all my details to Visa office. I am not sure if that is required?

Many says that "Letter of Explanation" plays an important role in getting or rejection of Visa for mature students, as it depicts their intention and possibilities of coming back after completion of studies.

XBOX, to put it in a simple manner (A thief wont say hez a thief) it is so obvious that anybody wud try to put nice things in an SOP and try to explain ur case !! If I was a VO why wud I read a piece of paper and judge u on that, I'm gonna look at ur docs like Edu quali, work ex, ur financial capability, and then judge whether u'll get back here or whether u a genuine student or whatever I wanna Judge !! hope it clears all ur doubts, hez not interested in what u say, hez only lookin for hard facts !!!
