Yes. You can apply under spp only once in lifetime. But you can continue no of times in general category.

You can apply under SPP only once if it is rejected. If the visa is approved and you complete your studies and come back and want to return Canada again on a study permit then you can apply under SPP again. This is the only scenario when you can apply under SPP twice. Hope this piece of information will help.

Incorrect. You can use SPP only once & in first attempt. If you have been refused earlier under general/university category, you can't use SPP as a second option.
