Spouse's sister was previously a PR of Canada - need to explain or show proof?

Hi all,

My spouse's sister was previously a PR of Canada (was married to a Canadian) but has since been divorced and her PR status has been cancelled due to excessive time spent outside of Canada (she has moved permanently back to Nicaragua - no plans of ever returning). She spent <1 year in Canada back in 2007.

While this is never explicitly asked about in the forms, I feel as though I should explain it somewhere in our application - but where? And is is necessary to include proof such as copies of her passport, visa etc? (These may be difficult to obtain as the sister lives quite far away and is generally "out of touch" with the family).

at the question for the applicant do u have any family in Canada u can write see additional details page x
in the extra paper u will put his name and dob in the header, question number and form number (or just follow how it says in the guides to do it) and then write what u said here; the most imp to write is when she landed in Canada, when she left, she is not a PR anymore and she does not have a Canadian address; and no u will not need to provide copies of her visa, passport etc; they can see it from her name if they really want to
it's true that they don't ask directly but these forms r generic they cannot cover each specific circumstance from thousands of ppl; i would write it (u don't want it to look that u tried to hide it)
