Spouse's name in passport?

While providing documents after getting an ITA; if the spouse's name is not there in the passport, would it create any issue? Would the marriage certificate suffice? My passort was issued before my marriage hence the spouse section is empty

Most of the countries do not put spouse's name in passports. So you will be fine. Marriage certificate is the only document you need to prove your marriage.
