Spouse's Job Experience

Hi All,
My spouse has one year of experience as a Front Desk Agent (NOC code 6525), however when I add it to my profile I don't get any points for it. It says 0 in the spouse Canadian work experience section. She started on April 15, 2015.
My question is does in matter what NOC code your spouse has in order to get points?

The job needs to be classified under NOC A, B or O category.
