Spouse WP and visa

Hi team,

Let me explain my scenario first.
I am going to canada with visitors visa and then my employer will apply my WP.and they said once I obtain my WP my spouse can apply for his open WP.
But My confusion is ..
1.which visa he needs to go to Canada first with me.
2.If its visitors then how to tag him with me to apply his WP.

I am really worried with this process.

What job will you be obtaining in Canada? Only certain jobs (NOCs with skill level A, B or 0) qualify for an OWP.

Yes,I am an IT professional and my job is under NOC B..
Can you please let me know how to apply for TRV to go to Canada as a tourist (for my spouse).
I tried to apply for tourist visa but its asking for return ticket.
Currently I am in USA with visa.I will move to Canada with WP from my employer.

You need a return ticket if you are coming to Canada on a TRV. A TRV only allows you to visit temporarily. You shouldn't purchase the ticket until you have an approved TRV - however you can provide an itinerary.

so you mean.. to apply for TRV ,I need to show return ticket to USA.and once its approved,I can cancel that ticket.
is it something like that?

One more thing,If we travel from USA to canada by Car through rainbow bridge..
what needs to be done?
