Hi everyone!

I have a couple of questions regarding my status. I moved with my wife to Canada.

She is studying an MBA program that includes an University Access Program as prerequisite (9 months)

Her study permit has the following:

Case type: 30

Conditions:
  1. Must leave Canada by (given date)
  2. Not valid for employment in business such as strip clubs, maissage parlours or escort services.
  3. This permit does not authorize the holder to engage in off campus employment in Canada.

Remarks/Observations:
Unless prerequisite course or program has been completed, may not accept off-campus employment. XKW660.

My work permit has the following:

Case type:54

Conditions:
  1. Must leave Canada by (given date)
  2. Not valid for employment in business such as strip clubs, maissage parlours or escort services.
  3. Unless authorized, prohibited from attending any educational institution, or taking any academic, professional or vocational training course.

Remarks/Observations:
Open work permit only valid while spouse is a full-time enrolled student in a PGWP-eligible program at a designated learning institution. XKW660

My questions are the following:
  1. Do I have to wait 9 months to be able to work? (That is what the migration officer said to me)
  2. is there any way to change this? (When my wife log in the university platform, it displays both programs, the MBA and the prerequisite)
  3. If it cannot be changed right now (sad path), when my wife finish the prerequisite, do we have to change the permits or request an amendment?
  4. What if I get a job offer?

Thank you so much for your help.
